Dr. Lindemann graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University, majoring in Nutritional Science. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and completed her family medicine residency training at the Methodist Hospital. During residency, she served as chief resident and the Diabetes Change Agent for GO! Diabetes Education Program, a joint program between Texas, Georgia, and Oklahoma to promote awareness for diabetes quality improvement. Dr. Lindemann received the Award of Excellence from the GO! Diabetes Program in November of 2009 and the inaugural Excellence in Leadership award from The Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Lindemann has been married for 17 years and has three children; Carson, age 16, Peyton, age 13, and Katherine, age 10. Since moving to Nacogdoches in 2010, Dr. Lindemann has been very active in the community. She has participated in Relay for Life, has been a dancer for Dancing With the Stars – Nacogdoches to raise money for cancer research, and volunteered at other fundraisers such as Simply Pink. Currently, she serves on the sports medicine team at Stephen F Austin State University, medical director at local nursing homes in Nacogdoches and Center, and also works with a hospice agency to provide end of life care for patients.
